Anxiety as Teacher: A Dharma and Yoga online Daylong

With our current global situation and unique individual challenges, anxiety is a natural response. Our bodies are not designed for chronic stress, however, and over time it can derail our well-being and disconnect us from our hearts.

This daylong program will weave Dharma wisdom and meditation together with mindful movement and gentle breathing techniques. These embodied practices will help to release chronic tension, regulate our nervous systems, and calm reactivity. We will emphasize the heart practice of mettā in meditation and Dharma discussion in order to cultivate a kinder, more spacious relationship with ourselves. Through grounding and resourcing, we may turn toward and embrace anxiety as a teacher—one that deepens mindful awareness and generates a tender connection to our inner states.

All abilities and levels of experience are welcome.
