SMS Depth Dharma: Introducing the Kuan Yin Dharmas (8–week online class)

With Thanissara, Elaine Yeh, and Djuna Devereaux
Mondays, 9-10:30am PT

This 8-week practice and study course will introduce and guide participants through core dimensions of the Kuan Yin Dharmas. These teachings and practices have been particularly effective and deeply important for SMS founders Thanissara and Kittisaro through over 40 years of cultivation and have inspired Elaine on her quest to understand and heal the heart-mind.

This course features eight pre-recorded video presentations from Kittsaro’s original Introducing the Kuan Yin Dharmas Course, supported by in-depth weekly sessions including orientation and reflection on the material as well as practice instruction, group discussion, and reflection with questions and answers.

Introducing the Kuan Yin Dharmas draws inspiration from Kittisaro’s primary guides and teachers, Master Hsuan Hua and Ajahn Chah. It is also informed by Kittisaro and Thanissara’s adaptation of this ancient Dharma to contemporary culture, Elaine Yeh’s many years as a monastic within Master Hua’s lineage, and Djuna Devereaux’s application of the Kuan Yin practices in her practice, teaching, and healing work.

The teaching team will share from their own practice and experience working with this profound and unique Dharma Door.
